Sarah posted something about being called "ma'am", and I completely understand it. Beyond understand it... did you ever see that episode of Will and Grace? Maybe it was Friends. Someone came in crying, wailing about being called "ma'am", when she wasn't old enough to be a "ma'am". She was a "miss".
